The Municipal Health Office of Valencia, Bohol today called on the public to celebrate the holidays with utmost caution as it launched this year’s anti-firecrackers campaign.
“There are other means to celebrate than exploding firecrackers and lighting fireworks. It is not worth risking losing lives and limbs,”
MHO encouraged the public to use alternative noisemakers to celebrate holidays like blowing torotot, honking car horns, and playing loud music. Neighborhood street parties, concerts, and parlor games with family members are also preferred.
