Last November 25, 2022, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation together with the members of the Local Youth Development Council of Valencia conducted a reorientation on the rules, regulations, and duties of the young leaders as stipulated in the the Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. 10742 otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Reform Act of 2015”.
The seminar started with an introduction and reorientation of the SK-IRR by the MLGOO – Mrs. Elvira Mandin. After the reorientation, Mayor Neil Balite conducted a seminar on how to become better leaders in the post modern age.
The next part of the seminar was the drafting of plans on the different areas, specifically ten areas.
After which, every leader assigned on a certain area was given a chance to speak and share the plan drafted by the group. After the reporting, Ma’am Mandin finalized the details of the plans in every area making it more feasible.
