CFIDP | Regional Launching & Info Caravan

The Regional Launching and Info Caravan of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) happened last 17th day of August 2022 at Bohol Cultural Center, Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Mdm Asteria C. Caberte, the Provincial Director, welcomed the participants while Mr. Brendan P. Trasmonte, Regional Manager III of PCA 7, introduced to the participants its keynote speaker. Hon. Benjamin R. Madrigal Jr. pointed out the existence of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP) and how our beloved Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte took part in such creation.
Republic Act 11524, also known as Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund (CFITF) Act, created CFIDP and was signed the 26th day of February 2021. It seeks to (1) Increase the productivity and income of coconut farmers; (2) poverty alleviation, education, and social equity; and (3) rehabilitation and modernization of the coconut industry toward farm productivity. The open forum happened after the keynote speaker delivered his talk.
Our very own Atty. Dionisio D. Balite, the former Vice Governor of Bohol, also attended the program. Mr. Melvir F. Salise, the Municipal Information Officer of Valencia, Bohol, represented the Municipality of Valencia to witness the said regional launching.
